The process requires a machine called blow molding machine. The granulates (HDPE, PA…) are melted thanks to an endless screw for the purpose of filling an accumulation head. Once the head is filled, a parison flows and two half shells are placed on it. Once the mold is closed, blow pins blow air to press the material onto the mold. The mold opens revealing a tank of the exact same shape.
Then, the different components of the tank (valve, pump, sensors, pipes…) are cut, welded and integrated on automatic and assembly lines. We then check the permeability of each tank individually.
